Question Mint 17 Qiana KDE

I have a few questions which I would appreciate help with:

1. How do you increase the size of desktop icons in Mint 17.3 KDE (there is no option in System Settings where there were a few sizes for selection in earlier versions)

2. How do you purge the entire disk in order to do a clean install? something like fdisk in windows?

3. How can you clear out the quick dial squares on a new tab in Chromium browser? (see screenshot)

4. Is there going to be a release of Mint 18 Sarah KDE?

Thanks very much in advance

1. ?
2. You can use Gparted to partition and format the disk
3. You should better use Firefox ESR
4. Look here: https://www.linuxmint.com/download_all.php

For reinstalling just tell the installer how you want your partitions or "use entire disk" and it will write over the old ones -- there's no need to wipe the disk.

1. Right-click on desktop->Folder Settings->Icons->Arrangement->Size.

2. You should be able to do this as part of the new install (it will be one of the options).

4. Yes. The KDE and Xfce versions are usually released a month or so after the Cinnamon/MATE versions.
