How to set right Linux Mint MATE Version 17.2


TO Proper installation Alongside Windows?
in Version 17.2 For example In STEP OF Setting of partitioning there is not in Starts option of add
so what to do?

You can install Mint along side your Windows install (commonly referred to as "dual-boot") or replace your Windows install. What you choose depends on what you want to do.

These videos from Linux Voice on this page should help. The second video specifically addresses installing Mint. It's been a while since I watched it, but I think it demonstrates a dual-boot install.

is the 180GB fat32 partition (/dev/sda5) in use?
you should move all data away from it, then reformat most of it to ext4, and the rest as swap (*).
install linux mint into the newly created ext4 partition.

(*) swap (=virtual memory) should be 1:1 with your physical RAM on linux systems.
