How to input a different language in Xfce bootable on a flash stick?

Have been test running Xfce bootable for a month. Want to add a different language to the input, Thai for example, but failed. How to add Thai to the input in Xfce live bootable?
Thanks.

Your Language depends on your Locale.

The laziest thing to do is add a seperate user with a separate Locale of your choice. Then you can configure the Locale to your second language.

You'd need to give more detail if you need more help.

How to remove or delete an additional input language improperly installed?

Tried to add Thai to Xfce input language but ended with a failure. Want to remove Thai from the system. How to do it, please?
Thanks.

If you added the Thai user, simply delete him again?

Thank you.

Have a friend in Thailand, a native of Thailand. I wanted to write him an email in Thai. So, I tried to install Thai in Xfce. Here is what I did: Input Method > Thai > Install > Fcitx > Logged out and back in > Right-clicked the Fcitx in the system tray and tried to choose "Configure" and stuck here. Could not find any option as Configure.

I assume that Thai is not properly installed. I want to uninstall or remove it from the system. But do not know how.
Please help.
Thank you.

Have tried : Applications > Recently Used > Language > Install/Remove Languages...> a list of languages appeared, all English in various countries and areas, but no Thai.

Installed Thai but could not find Configure by right clicking on Fcitx, and there was no Thai in the language list for removing, I could not input Thai and coult not remove it. Confused and stuck.

OK. I normally do this as root in a black terminal, available via Ctrl_Alt_F2. Add a user with useradd, and make sure he ends up with a Thai locale. Do that in ~/.bashrc & ~/.bash_profile You can log in and run startx from runlevel 3 as the thai user and that setting should go up the food chain.

There will want to be fonts about.

Thank you.

That is too complicated for me. I can manage to add Thai to input function of Xfce by Input Method if I know how to operate the Input Method.

I can install Thai in Input Method but get stuck at "Change the input method framework to Fcitx" right after installing Thai. I do not know what to do or how to proceed this requirement.

I put thsat bit you had in "inverted commas" into a search engine and came up with This as the first hit. Try it and see how you get on.

If you don't care about switching religion, MX can make life easy for people like you (& me).
I saw in MX Package Installer, option to install Thai-Libreoffice & Thai-Firefox.
I want my computer in English, but occasionally write emails to my friends/relatives in our own.
