I've been dual booting mint19/Vista for some time. But after recent mint update, when I boot I am only seeing mint options. I had the boot order changed, to Linux HD, wimdows HD then periphials. I tried changing back to see if windows would start, nothing. Then I tried removing Linux HD. Then I get a error message. Also while in Linux I can no longer see or mount windows HD. Now I spend 97% of my time on mint and do not want to use windows repair disk, then I would lose mint. I can post the grub output data if anyone can help me edit it and get back Vista for my son's game. Any help appreciated

You could try booting from a live media of BootRepairDisk (https://sourceforge.net/projects/boot-repair-cd/) and see if that resolves the issue for you.

I'll give it a shot. I think I've already got a copy.
