hello
i wanna buy a netbook but does anyone know a perfect distro for netbooks
on my normal computer i use opensuse
but is opensuse not to heavy? it got tons of software that will installed on it by default
i was thinking of debian does the most hardware works out of the box ?
i wanna buy this netbook :
Acer Notebook Aspire One Netbook 160 GB 3G
It is possible to install and run other Linux distributions on the Acer Aspire One, and some specially customised Linux distributions have been designed to offer out-of-the-box functionality. These include Linux4One, and Kuki Linux.
Other distributions of the Linux operating system will also run on the Acer Aspire One, such as Fedora, Debian, Mandriva Linux, Ubuntu, EeeBuntu, openSUSE, and Linux Mint.
I use Linux Mint on my Acer Aspire. I'm impressed (and very happy) with its out-of-the-box functionality.
