usb ISO won't boot
I would like to install Puppy linux into a new Aspire laptop, but the ISO won't boot. Not even on my desktop running RC Mageia 6 gnome.
Opening Unetbootin, in my desktop, gives a blank fawn square.
Using
dd bs=1M if=origin of=/dev/sdc1 (the usb drive)
makes Mageia believe the usb is a CDROM.
The Aspire's tmp is disabled, secure boot cleared, and set to boot from the usb first.
Even on my desktop the resulting ISO won't boot when the Bios is set to boot from a usb first (which is how the Bios recognises the usb)
Puppy's md5 sum is correct.
I would appreciate finding out what I have done wrong.
