Urgent

hi:

I need a live cd linux distro (prefrably light weight) which has bunch of wireless card drivers bundled in it. suggest me which one should i use.

I am using a fujitshu s4542 laptop with external wireless pcmcia card which is netgear 54Mbps wireless pc card WG511 v2. the live cd should make use of this netgear card.

Thanks
Paras.

Depends on which netgear version of that card you have. Check this post on that.

For a live cd depends on what you need to run. Might be better off custom building one of your own from Knoppix or Ubuntu. Knoppix has lots of support for nics. Seems good with ndiswrapper but not sure on the windows inf file needed. May have to use a usb flashdrive and ad the addition items needed.

Please do not put a thread title like URGENT it is of no use to anyone something more descriptive like 'suggestions for live cd with good wifi support' would be better. Finger wagging over .

Try

or knoppix is usually as good as it gets for auto dectection of hardwear.
