TV-out display with Trident CyberBlade/XP

Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion n5430 notebook with a Trident CyberBlade/XP. How do I use the TV-out display? (I think the TV out is also called also called composite video?)

The software is Ubuntu Edgy 6.10 and X.org 7.1. According to the trident man page, I set TVChipset to CH7005 and VT1621 (once at a time) and set TVSignal to 0 (for NTSC).

I tried the standard 1024x768. Then, I also tried 800x600. There's no display at all on the TV out. Even using the special function keys to toggle the second CRT makes no difference.

Here's the partial output of lspci:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Trident Microsystems CyberBlade/XP (rev 63)
