Torsmo & Ndiswrapper

Hi folks. in the last day i have (with a LOT of help from this forum community) managed to get gentoo installed complete with fluxbox and a wireless connection. I am quite happy.

At this point I'm simply installing necassary apps and the like. I have a slight issue with torsmo at the moment. It appears that torsmo doesn't play well with ndiswrapper. Has anyone been able to get this combo to work properly?

Never used ndiswrapper, however, what errors are you getting from Torsmo... It's a pretty straight forward system monitor, but I don''t know where the conflicts would arise...

not really confilcts per se. it's just that torsmo is set to monitor eth0. i am wondering if i change it from eth0 to wlan0 (even tho it's run by ndiswrapper) that it might work.

also, because i am using gentoo i emerged torsmo in order to install it. however, there is no .torsmorc file. and if i make one it is ignored. anyone have any ideas with that?

my .torsmorc is located in my home folder here:

~/.tormsorc

if this file is not found by Torsmo it will dafault to an original configuration, same if I run torsmo as root...

don't know if it will monitor wlan0 but i don't see why not... maybe varify just a matter of changing:

${downspeed eth0}
to
${downspeed wlan0}
