System Restore Disk

I have just created a new kubuntu install and finished installing all my usual applications on my new laptop. I would like to basiacly build my own .iso file that I can burn to a DVD to restore my system to this point. Is this possible?

It used to be possible with something called remastersys, but I think it's no longer supported.

Wait. Apparently it's back in development. http://sourceforge.net/projects/remastersys/

You might want to take a look at Clonezilla. http://clonezilla.org/
