Hello all,
So, I have an iPaq 210 PDA (yes, I know it's a dinosaur- don't judge me :-P ), which I would like to sync up to a calendar (probably Thunderbird/Lightning or Evolution, which ever is easier) on my laptop, which is currently running Linux Mint 15. In essence, I'm looking for an equivalent of ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center. The Ipaq is running CE OS 5.2.1616 (Windows Mobile 6 Classic).
I installed SynCE- however, whenever I try to run synce-ls, it spits out the following error:
Quote:
** (process:18095): WARNING **: synce_info_from_hal: Failed to obtain list of attached devices: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 1
** Message: Odccm is not running, ignoring
synce-pls: Could not find configuration at path '(Default)'
|
The support information for SynCE appears to have vanished off the web, and much of the related software (opensync/multisync) doesn't appear to be fully supported any more, either.
So, at this point, what are my options?
Any and all suggestions and advice is appreciated!
