0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10]

When I boot the machine I am sure something is mentioned about an Intel Audio driver being loaded. Could it be picking up the wrong hardware?

I have added my user to the audio group but no luck.

Cheers,

Solved!

Solved this myself. Good ole google directed me to the alsamixer. One apt-get to install it and then a quick un muting and all was well.

Thanks anyway!
