Some audio issues (buzzing/muting); Sony VAIO + Debian 8.2

Hi, I've got 2 issues related to my Debian 8.2 install on my Sony VAIO VPCF130FD Laptop, with a Realtek ALC275 audio chip.

1. There is a slight buzzing noise that comes out one of my laptop speakers, sometimes when audio is muted, but ONLY when muted. Might be there when not, but it's not noticeable.

Trying to solve this, I've done:
  • adding tsched=0 to a load-module line (load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0) within /etc/pulse/default.pa
  • changing default-fragment-size-msec from 25 to 10, within /etc/pulse/daemon.conf
  • adding a certain line, something related to fix within alsa-conf, which I forget where it is right now.
And I've a feeling none really fixed anything.

2. When I use the hardware buttons (FN+FunctionKey) to mute/unmute audio, the master is muted and unmuted, but speakers are not. Not sure how to solve this.

Alsa and Pulseaudio are installed, and I'm using XFCE4 as my DE.

Thanks for any help. Any more info can be provided.

open "alsamixer" in a terminal and make sure that things like line in and mic are muted (MM).
you might have to repeat similar steps with a gui pulseaudio mixer, e.g. pavucontrol.
