Sharp pc-gp10-cm laptop


hello all sorry if this is a waste of time i hope it isnt.
I am new to linux and have a sharp pc-gp10-cm laptop i installed windows XP on it and it stopped working Tipical lol so i put a new hard drive in it and im trying to put linux on it ..... what do i do about drivers as i am new and have absouloutly NO IDEA lol
please help me either by replying here or on my email address callum_collins@hotmail.co.uk

All the hardware shold be setup during install. Depending on what distrobution you choose hardware detection can vary, but linux is verry good at getting hardware to just work.
