sd/mmc card reader not working


I m using fedora 6.0 in my hp laptop which have inbuilt sd/mmc card reader .
but when i inserted card into my card reader
it didnt show anything
help me in this regard

What model laptop? You can check to see if anyone has gotten it to work on your model at Linux on Laptops.

Look at the output of the "lspci -v" command run as root. I'm betting it uses a Texas Instruments controller. There are some controllers that are supported and some aren't. My HP laptop even came with a usb SD card reader attachment. My HP desktop also has a 5in1 reader, and it works using the same distro.
