Problem with my laptop Gateway M-6750 and Wifi


HI i've a Gateway M-6750 Laptop and i can't set up my wireless card in slackware 12.1


first i used the comand: lspci


and it show me 2 ethernet card :

02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. Unknown device 2a08 (rev 03)
06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 01)

where the first one is y wirelesscard and the other one is my network adpater.


but i dont what to do now, how can install the drivers or configure.


if anyone can help plz and tks

I believe your laptop has the Marvel TopDog wireless chipset. You will have to download and run ndiswrapper to load the Windows driver for this. This link refers to Ubuntu but you will pick up some pointers from it. I don't have that hardware so I can't be of more help.
