problem with lid


after closing the lid on my laptop the screen just changes the resolution to one the screen cant handle .
the only way to get rid of the problem is to log out of kde and inn agean.

my laptop is an
amitech
p4 2,8
gf4 go 440
with mandrake 10.0

well.........if your using acpi (i forget how to with apm, i switched a while ago) /etc/acpi/events folder contains the command that runs when your shut your laptop lid. theres probably something similar to apm, just delete the file or move it to your home directory
