noisy fan


hi
while i install openSUSE 11.1 on my vaio vgn-sz640, laptop is noisy.what is problem and how can i solve it?

Hello,
I do not know your exact problem but I suspect that your Suse is running at maximum CPU frequency all the time..This results for laptops, in shorter battery life and your symptom of the fan running at maximum..
If you google for "linux dynamic CPU frequency scaling " you will find a host of hits..You may find a solution to your problem..
