Unhappy No Ubuntu Partition shown

After dual booting win7 and Ubuntu, the latter fails to boot after several weeks. When I go to remove ubuntu it has no partition shown from Windows disk manager.
Thanks
Les

Windows 7 or any other version do not recognize linux partitions.
It may be cause that you can not have it in Windows Disk Manager.
