Unable to install Fedora Core 4 on Toshiba Satellite 2100CDS

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I download Fedora 4 to install on this laptop I got free.

It's a Toshiba Satellite 2100CDS. I was wondering has anyone tried to install linux before on it? I started the install but I get a tone of bug towards the end were it starts to load linux on it.

Any kind of help would be good to load linux on this laptop.

Thanks....

Looks like pretty old gear - try looking on http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/toshiba.html. Might be a bit of a stretch getting FC4 on it.
Try a Knoppix LiveCD - although it'll be slow; looks like you don't have a lot of memory; maybe DSL would be a better option to check it out.
