Mandriva and XP.

Hi,

I reinstalled Windows XP on my DELL Inspiron 8500 laptop, with Mandriva on a partition. The problem is, I can't figure out how to activate the Mandriva partition! Can anyone help? Thanks,

Greg.

Do you mean that your not seeing the bootloader (Grub or LILO) any more? If this is the case, then I believe that if you boot from the Mandriva install disks, you should find an option to reinstall the bootloader.

Hi,

I actually have fought with Mandriva to try to set up a partition for WXP, but WXP doesn't like the partition, even though I set it up as FAT32. So, I installed only WXP, and am now going to try to dual boot Mandriva in. Unless there was something I have not tried with Mandriva. By the way, I did get the bootloader, and I tried both Grub and LILO. WXP just didn't like the partition.

Greg.
