Macbook pro dual boot with Linux Mint 14 Boot Problems
Hello, I will try to make this a fairly simple question. I previously had Linux Mint 13 dual booted with OS X. When Linux Mint 14 came out, and I had read that a lot of things had been fixed (and, ironically, the problems I was having) I thought I would upgrade to it. However, when I did, all that popped up would be the Grub 2 menu from Mint 14. This would be fine normally, but OS X won't boot up, even if i choose the option in Grub 2. This has always been the case in Grub, but I just got rEFInd and it fixed everything. But now, no matter what I choose, Grub always shows up first on startup, and I often need to go to OS X, for one thing or another. I know this may be a little vague, and if you need information i will gladly give you more, but I was just wondering if anyone had any info on how to fix it? It is a MBP 7,1 in case you were wondering. Thanks in advance.
