MacBook-Gentoo-Boot

Hi all,
I am lately having this issue on my MacBook with Gentoo at startup.

The boot process stops and hangs on end with the message:

ata_piix 0000:00:1f.2: MAP [P0 P1 P2 P3]

unless I put a dvd/cd in the cd/dvd player. As soon as I put a disk in the boot goes on normally.

Any hints on this would be greatly appreciated.
