looking for a sub-3lbs(1.5kg) laptop/notebook

I'm looking for a laptop notebook in sub-3lbs(1.5kg) range. Heavier is no good.
The requirements are that it needs to be a 3-4 year old model and x86 compatible. I strongly prefer nVidia/ATI video, however Intel is OK. No Trident or NeoMagic video, that's a requirement.
Low voltage CPU, Pentium M preferred, however low voltage Pentium III is OK.(Other CPUs like Transmeta or VIA are OK as long as it's not mobile AMD)
It absolutely has to have a trackpad, I can't use a trackpoint.
Obviously it should be Linux compatible but I think I covered most of the important stuff. It's OK if there is no internal optical drive.
I would like to get as many tips about my options as possible so I would have a choice when I shop for such used machine. I'm looking to spend no more than $400.
Let me know if any such models come to mind.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe a Toshiba R100 would fit that description.

Trident video. I actually owned an R100. Great machine, just not for us Linux folks. I've had the Portege 2000 as well, which is practically the same machine.
The nearly inexistent trident video driver ruins these machines.
It's kind of the point of the thread - I'm out of ideas. Its a tough question.
Keep em coming

*EDIT*
I have my eye on R200 which has Intel 915 video, but I want more options. I can't believe nobody except Toshiba made stuff like this.

I could have sworn the R100 had Intel graphics, maybe I was thinking of the R200.

The X series Thinkpads were pretty light, don't know too much about them though.
