linux yellowdog wifi


i am going to be installing a wifi network in my house between three windows xp machines and i have a ibook (g3)that has a built in airport card and was wondering since i have yellowdog will i be able to go on the same linksys router as the windows machines and be able to share data with them?and if so how? i am new to this field.
