Linux OS for Apple Ipod Touch

I am a person who loves to experiment. I was wondering if there
is any way to install a Linux on Ipod Touch. I have herd of Android
And I believe that it won't be ready for some time
I am not really concered about Bricking it (I dont want to)
could I use something Like Ubuntu Mobile

any Ideas

If I'm not mistaken, the iPhone and iTouch are Unix based (as is OS X). Once it's hacked, you can install a bunch of utilities. You can install a terminal, apt-get and stuff like that. However... an actual Linux OS? Probably not.

On a curious note, you can crack WEP on the iPhone now. I thought that was pretty funny.
