Laptops with an AI co-processor/chip/etc

Was looking at a laptop today for work purposes and was shown one with what the sales rep called an AI chip.
Intel lappy and the AI chip apparently will take on the heavy workload.
Not sure if this is supported in *Nix and wondering if anyone has made good use of one?

I have 3 laptops that have NPU's, but haven't found anything they're any good for.

Looking around for more info and it is showing up as lots of bragging from the manufacturers and no useful docos anywhere to be seen.
