I want to partition windows xp for Ubantu or Red Hat


I want to partition my windows xp and load Red hat on. How do I do this?

You posted a very similar question last year, and received an answer. It hasn't changed since then....read the links/info you were provided in your other thread. Unless you have a very specific NEED for RedHat Enterprise, there is no need to run it. CentOS provides the same functionality, with updates/patches you won't get unless you PAY FOR RedHat.

For a beginner, Ubuntu or Fedora would be good choices. There are many how-to guides that are easily found, to tell you how to get your system to dual-boot.
