I can not install Mandriva 2006.


I tried to install Mandriva 2006 on my laptop Acer TravelMate 370. I got this message : can't access tty;job control turned off
What's the problem ? Thank you.

The only time I had that problem, I solved modifying grub's menu.lst, so:
Enter using recovery mode and post here the output of the command:
