HP mini 210-1042es Compiling kernel under RHEL 6

Hello guys, as you can see i have a HP Mini 210-1042es.It has a native resolution of 1024x600 and a touchpad with built-in buttons and on top of that a broadcom bcm43225 wifi card.
Now i have a RHEL 6 (trial version) for training purposes. What really irritates me is all of the above- the touchpad not functioning correctly, the xorg not finding what make is my video , not detecting the display and of course the wifi(broadcom sta causes a non-stop error message in the console in runlevel3).
I have tested the distro called "BackTrack" wich is based on Ubuntu 10.04.Everythings works better than fine .I think it uses 2.6.38 while my rhel installation uses 2.6.32 kernel.
I tried to copy the files from the /boot of the backtrack to the /boot of the rhel and adding the modules folder but i got to a dead-end. The ubuntu kernel i copied says that can`t find the LVM (which is the root partition) , which is very important for my training.

Now here is the question : can i just copy the kernel + the config and the modules and make it work ,or i have to compile from source. And how to do it so i don`t spend "years" compiling just to get to a no solution.

Thanks in advance to everyone and thank you for reading this long post.

the touch pad and the sound are normal problems with putting a server OS ( meant for a rack mounted headless server) on a laptop .
rhel was not designed for laptops , though most will mostly run it .

if you are going to use REHL then you need to buy a license
also the "trial" software is very limited so ask the red hat support
you do have access to it once you register the "trial" version

If you MUST have RHEL 6.2 then BUY a license
or install the free rebuild of RHEL6 , CentOS 6.2 or Scientific Linux 6.1 .

you do relies that Backtrack 5 is BUILT for and designed FOR security EXPERTS to do security penetration testing

a OS for security EXPERTS by SECURITY EXPERTS
and is built to run on a laptop and NOT leave ANY trace that it was even used

you can not "just copy" a kernel modal

you build it on the system
and for that you MUST have gcc and auto-tools installed and the kernel source

all are on the RHN
the FOR PAY red hat repo

you must have a valid license to access that

also the red hat knowledge base
https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/search

has the fix for this type of issue
but a license is required to read it
to read the output, of the above search, you HAVE to login to RHN using the username you set up when you bought the license

If you are NOT going to pay for red hat then DO NOT USE IT !!!

install a free rebuild like CentOS6 or Scientific linux 6
but there is NO tech support with the two other than the net

rhel has tech support you can call
