I just recently received my custom-built laptop from HP. It's the HP Pavilion ze2000t model. I installed Kubuntu, but I didn't have drivers for my Broadcom wireless card or my Realtek Ethernet card so I could not get connected to the internet. I don't know how I should go about installing Linux on my laptop in the easiest manner. I know how to do the actual installation, but I'm not sure how to get it to play nicely with my hardware. Can someone briefly outline the steps I should take? I read that the Broadcom and Linux issue is kinda widespread. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Check out this website which has software for configuring wireless. It is supposed to work out well

Also look for your model laptop on linux-on-laptops.com or .org or something. There are specific answers to configuring wireless there.
