Hello, would you recommend installing Ubuntu or another version on an HP 250 G6 N3060/4GB/128GBssd/. Would it run smooth or slow? It is Dual Core 1.6Ghz. What do you think?

HP 250 G6 is not listed as Ubuntu-certified. However, the HP 240 G6 (slightly earlier version) is certified. So it is worth a try.

According to that page, there may be some compatibility issues with the MMC card reader and with the Hibernate function.

Best way to know for sure whether your hardware is compatible would be to create a Live USB and take Ubuntu for a test drive (try without installing). Instructions are on this page:

Your N3060 is weaker than the 2ghz minimum hardware recommendation, so if you are not happy with Ubuntu's performance, you might want to try a lighter-weight desktop environment (such as Xubuntu or Lubuntu).
