Are there any early-adopters here, with hands-on experience with this new UMPC?
Usually, using a mouse is a one-handed operation, with the mouse-buttons being controlled with the fingers of the same hand that positions the cursor by moving the mouse.
How are early-adopters reacting to the cursor-control arrangement of the
GPD Pocket 2,--in practical use?
Specifically, a finger of the right hand is used to activate a finger-tip sensor on the device's
upper right, but one would have to use the opposite hand to reach the left-and-right mouse-buttons, positioned at the device's
upper left--also above the keyboard. Just by looking at the arrangement, I don't see how it's possible to do everything with one hand!
Is this working well, in practice? As they say, the 'proof of the pudding is in the eating'.
The question is relevant because its competition, the
One-Netbook One Mix Yoga, has all mouse functions in one place, approximately where the user's thumbs would rest, when touch-typing on the keyboard.
