Getting more memory

I have Fedora Core 3 installed in a dual boot configuration. I got Linux to automatically partition the partition that was there. The thing is, everything works fine except I realize that my paritition was way too small. I only have something like 200M left. So, what I want to do is to steal dome disk space from the windows partition. How can I increase the size of one of the Linux partition by taking away fromt he Windows XP one without hurting the Windows XP OS?

I am a newbie, but I know this is dangerous.

Well, you can use tools like qtparted (a free clone of PartitionMagic), ntfsresize, and a resize program for your linux filesystem to attempt to accomplish this. However, the most important point is this: BACK UP FIRST. Even with commercial software, this process can be dangerous. If you lose power midway, your system will be a nightmare. But I've done it before with perfect success, so it is possible.
