FC3- can't log into KDE

When I start my pc everything works alright, i am even able to log into
the Gnome but when i try loging into kde it logs in but nothing appears
but a blank screen. I do see the mouse but that's about it; I wanted to know if there was some commands to restore kde.

I think if you remove the .kde directory in your home folder, you should be reset back to "default"

You said that you can log into GNOME right?

When you do open you home directory.

You may have to look for an option to show hidden files either by right clicking or in the menu - not too sure.

Look for a directory named .kde

You can try renaming it or deleting it altogether.

Then logout and try to login into KDE again.

See if that works or helps.

Lemme know...

I logged into Gnome and in the home directory (Ctrl+H) to show hidden files. I then deleted the kde folder and tried logging into kde but there was no change (dindt work)

hmmmm....

was the ~/.kde directory recreated?

Have you tried updating your kde if not the latest version? (try yum)
