Error when installing Slackware 10 on old laptop

i just got an old laptop for free that i want to make dual boot for win95/slackware10. it's a Sager 86, Pentium 133mhz, 1.33gb hd, 32mb ram, floppy, cd-rom, no lan pc card. it won't let me boot off cd, so i have to use floppy, but it doesn't seem to work properly (sometimes the boot, sometimes the root with various types). does anyone know what the proper boot/root disks i should be using? i was also having some trouble with partitioning it. thanks

This is just a suggestion you might want to find and older version of "slack" to run on that one. 10.0 might be a bit more than that system could handle.

i use the latest versions of the boot/root disks

bare.i for the the boot disk

dd if=bare.i of=/dev/fd0

install.1 and install.2 for the root disks

fdformat /dev/fd0
mkfs.msdos /dev/fd0
cp install.1 /dev/fd0

same with install.2

i think is the technique ...
