booting an apple laptop


HI

I have got the mandrake linux 9.o ppc CDs

The apple laptop i have is an old one

It doesnt have a CDROM

I intend to install linux through NFS by exporting the
CD packages from my desktop ( redhat 9 )

Now tell me how do i boot the apple laptop from a
floppy.

i mean to say how to make a boot floppy of mandrake linux for the
apple laptop.

i couldn;t find any boot images on the CD which can be transferred to a floppy.

i have had no previous experience with apple macintosh

so please tell me in detail
