Boot a USB device through floppy in order to install LINUX
Hi, I have an old Toshiba tecra 8000 with P2 300Mhz, 256MB RAM external floppy and internal CD-ROM. I figured out that the internal CD-ROM is dead and that the system cannot boot from USB devices.
So my only chance to install linux on this thing is to connect an external HDD or DVD-ROM drive via usb. Then boot from a floppy disk that will allow me to start an installation from an external USB device.
Does anyone have any idea how this is possible?
Thanks in advance
