I have a problem with my LiveCD I'm trying to run on my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 6000. Downloaded the iso for ASC ( auditor-200605-02-no-ipw2100.iso ) but when I try to boot from the cd...I select option 1 for 800x600

For those of you who don't know, ASC is a LiveCD used for testing the security of a wireless network.


someone, anyone.. please help me with this... I've heard it's because I have SATA drives instead of IDE... if that's the case, is there a way I can edit it to run off of SATA? A nice walkthrough on such a thing would also be appreciated

is your CD ROM drive also SATA?
Have you a) make sure with a checksum that the ISO downloaded well
and b) that it was burnt correctly - the error about the file system sounds like
it is just a bad image!
