heypeople im trying to get my ati mobile radeon 9600 working with 3d accel.. im using slackware with a gentoo portage port...

i installed the ati-drivers and did opengl-update ati... however

its not loading the ATI drivers, plus

modprobe: Can't locate module fglrx

i ran fglrxconfig and everything went fine.. i tried using their AGPART and the kernels.. and my glxgears are giving me like 150FPS

its detected on boot, i dunno whats wrong.. maybe my xorg.conf? I honestly dont know.. any help would be appreciated..

Have you got your kernel sources installed with the /usr/src/linux sym link pointing to them ?

If not install the kernel sources and create the symlink then re-install ati-drivers etc.
