activate webcam in LINPUS netbook


Dear all

I want to say thank you so much because I had succes to install
LINPUS in my neetbook. There is no many problem in this procces but some device are not compatible yet like webcam. How to run it.

OEM manufacturers ship their products with Linpus installed. Linpus is not meant to be a desktop OS, IMO.

Linpus Lite that came on the Acer Aspire netbooks was a perfectly usable Fedora based distribution, it is out of date and unmaintained at the moment though, so it really isn't worth running anymore. There is another version of Linpus floating around on the full sized laptops that doesn't come with X installed and it is not usable, it is not related to Linpus Lite on the Acer Aspire One.

I don't know if I'd call it perfectly usable, but it did have the advantage that all of the netbook's hardware worked with it. I run Fedora 17 on my AOA-150; the only non-working component is the xD card reader component of the right slot (SD cards work in either slot).
