3D on Toshiba A135..please help


Hi All

I got a toshiba laptop and I really dont like the 3D performance of i, I cant user Compiz or Google earth due to poor 3D performance my graphics card is

Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller

Xorg displays the following

Section "Device"
Identifier "Intel Corporation Mobile Integrated Graphics Controller"
Driver "i810"
BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
Option "XVideo" "On"

Try searching LQ with the SEARCH function for your graphics device; there are myriad threads about the same device, including a whack of them pertaining to (Toshiba) laptops. You should find some good places to start by doing so, and if you then run into a specific problem after trying some of the ideas you come across, post us what you tried and what is now happening or not happening.

Most of them just say I should edit xorg to i810 that is already configured in my case.
