Where to find Ubuntu 8.04 kernel - 2.6.24-23-generic for NComputing

Hi - I'm trying to set up Ubuntu with NComputing X550 client system. According to NComputing the Ubuntu version must be 8.04 using the 2.6.24-23-generic kernel "only". I see many Ubuntu 8.04 downloads available but do not know how to find the specific one required by NComputing. I'd appreciate directions!! Thanks!

Get and install that Ubuntu then check for its kernel version using uname -r, then if it does not match your expected kernel version (it is lower), then get a patch to increase its kernel version up to your desired version.

Thanks for your answer. I was unaware that it could be "patched" - guess that's why they call them "modules". OK, that puts me onto the scent - just have to figure out how to do the patch. I'll let you know how it goes. . .
