Thrust controller axes in Honeycomb Bravo Thrust Quadrant in wrong order

I am trying to use the Honeycomb Bravo but some of the six axes show up in the wrong order.
I need a way of changing this order at the O/S level. I don't know if it is the Joystick/evdev
that is the issue or not.

A tool that can swap a pair of axis would be good.
