Storage Device Error Frequency

I want to find frequency of occurrence of different errors in disks. So I'd like to know how frequent each error code is returned during access to a certain disk, e.g. a disk using a SCSI interface. OS is not important. From where should I start?

I think you need a bit more info than what you have given.

What's the goal?

Well. I have categorized SCSI error codes based on the correctness of their error handling. If I have the probability of occurrence of these error codes for a disk I can evaluate the reliability of that disk.
