rtlinux discussion

hello everyone,

I have a doubt in RTLinux. What happens is if we add certain signal like rtl_sidaddset(&(th)->pending,RTL_SIGNAL_SUSPEND), we usually expect that task to be suspended just after this fuction i.e. task should not execute the instructions after this fuction. But it doesnot happen. Instead that task continue execution untill there is call to rtl_schedule() fuction either by calling it or by interrupt. Then only signal are handled(if this thread is given cpu again or may be later depending on its priority)and executions if that task stop.

My doubt is why this flaw is there. And if it is not a flaw or if I have interpreted worngly please correct me. I will be highly obliged

Thanking in advance

krap

Maybe the linux audio user mailinglist is a good place to discuss this? linuxaudio.org

or www.linuxmusicians.com
