After long hassle trying to find and install radio tuner I finally landed on GQradio which works, but, whenever I try to use the "/dev/radio0" or "/dev/radio" image as my device it does not work but when I use the "/dev/video0" image, which f.y.i is the tv tuner device it works but all the stations are conflicted with one channel playing on top of another, so the entire thing is unbearable. Is this a driver problem, software or hardware? it used to work perfectly in the really old slackware days, anyone with this similar and hopefully solved problem pls share some wisdom. Thanks.

those cards come in all kinds of (bewildering number of) versions so i think you just have to hit on the right parameters when you load the module
try comparing your lspci device numbers with the page above to find what works for others
some trial and error might be involved
