linux kernel memory reports

Hi there.

I've been suffering from a very nasty bug that I experienced since ubuntu 16.04
and described here.

Since no one could help me I want to investigate it on myself, at least I'm finally happy that it 100% reproducible.

Still, I cannot find convenient instruments to do so. I'm interested in gathering per/absolute address usage statistics of all linux drivers in some debug manner. In particular, I'm interested to check so-called reserved memory and how next PR could help me...

Thanks in advance

A good place to start might be at kernel.org. You might start with the "kernel hacking guide."
