Broke my USB wireless device this morning. All I could find in town was a TP-Link PCI E device. Plugged it in expecting an uphill struggle to get it working but it burst into life on reboot. Even found my Netgear booster on the other side of a 30 inch thick clay wall in this old hovel we inhabit.

The kernel is amazing compared with my struggles in 1998. Thanks to all those who develop.

we need more reports of how well linux works!

coming to this help forum one gets the impression that the whole world of gnu/linux is completely broken, fixed with band-aid, and broken again...
