Kali Linux Nvidia/TP-Link downloads

Hello all,
I recently started dual booting Kali Linux on my PC, and I downloaded the drivers for my Nvidia graphics card, and my TP-Link Archer T4uh 1200 usb wireless adapter. and I think i have 2 questions. 1; how do i download the files? i got the tp-link driver set in a folder with everything, and i got the Nvidia driver in a .run form. 2. i was kinda able to get the .run to work, but then it was saying my Kernel was out of date i think, how do i update my kernel without wifi?..
thank you for the help if you can, it is much appreciated!

fathergrizzly,

you have made a very poor choice. Kali Linux is not suitable for everyday use, it is made for only one purpose - penetration testing. Get Debian (or any other normal distro) to learn Linux.
